Sunday, May 5th, 2013! Come join us and our close friends in dance, music, food & love for the fabulous dinner theater event, Springtime Follies!! Guests will have the pleasure of a full dinner menu with a fantastic lineup of performances featuring local talent -- like us! Do you really think we'd pass this show up?? Groovy Things

Thanks again to the masterful skills and generous heart of Daniel Jarvis, The Fossettes have MORE to show off!! We had a very fruitful second shoot with him. All of this is in aim to build that ever important press packet, but damn! I can't resist exposing them to you all! So please, have a taste....

If you've followed any sort of news on the events in the middle east the past couple of years, you probably know about the three hikers from the Bay Area who were taken hostage and imprisoned in Iran. It has been almost two years exactly since their arrest, and barely anything has been accomplished by the US Government on their behalf. Happening next weekend, Saturday July 9th, TWINSPACE is hosting a benefit in their honor!! We, The Fossettes, will be performing, along with other live musicians, DJs, artists selling their beauties, and more!  It's an event worth attending for them, their families, the sake of humanity and hope. Come help free the hikers!! Join us in our quest!!

The Fire After The Storm

Hello, beautiful fans. We're back from our adventures down south! El Circo so generously invited us to take part in their grand production at this year's Lightning In A Bottle festival in Santa Ana, CA the weekend of May 27th. MAN was that fun!! We had the pleasure of adding our hip shaking, groove making talent to their tribute to the decades. (We were the swingin 60's of course!) We had the challenge of picking tunes from that generation to fit the bill Bob Fosse style. We of course went with a tasty mix of "Love Me Two Times" by The Doors, and closed with "Medley: Aquarius/Let The Sunshine In" by The Fifth Dimension. Quite the dynamic duo there! We got a kick out of it, and so did the crowd of thousands of festival folk!! Here's a sweet little snapshot of us in action...

And guess who's responsible for the AMAZING costumes....Miss Glosse Heart herself!! Thank Goddess that she's back. We're a unit again! 

So what's next on our bill? Burning Man Precompression, silly!! Our performance time is still TBD, but with the smaller venue size, and the plethora of sites, I'm sure you won't want to miss a single bit of the night. So come see us shake it!!

We're also in the works for collaborating with the ever solid Tiger Honey Pot!! We had a stellar show with them for the Twinspace 2nd Anniversary Showcase, and we just couldn't get enough!! So keep your eyes pealed for those tidbits!! There's so much more we have in store for the rest of 2011...but one step at a time. We'll cross those bridges when we get to them.

Makin it HAPPEN!

Hello, pretty people! It's almost here. Like REALLY almost here. The Twinspace 2nd Anniversary Celebration! Tomorrow evening and into the lateness, we The Fossettes will be operating one of our most favorite events in the bay area. Come see us shake our fringe (yes, fringe!) with our NEW MOVES! YES! New routine!!! New act!!! New costumes!!! We're so excited...especially anticipating your presence!

Come celebrate the existence of this beautiful studio & its continuing growth! Twinspace Continuum's 2nd Anniversary Celebration proceeds are going in part to medical aid for family suffering from Muscular Dystrophy, and to help sustain the life and activity of Twinspace.

Twinspace opened May 1st, 2009 by twins Elizabeth & Melissa Castaneda and a team of loving, supportive friends. Materials were donated from the deconstruction of the old ODC Theater, including its 30 year old maple dance floor! We've been growing ever since with the aim of spreading the love and life that is the performing arts. Currently, there are daily open classes of yoga, modern, break dancing, and ballet techniques. Twinspace is also available to rent for rehearsals, classes, events, workshops, & more!

Up to some good.

Hey, folks. Wanna know why we've been lacking in updates? Well, it's hard to keep it up when you're so busy planning & plotting for the amazing endeavors ahead!

We're in the works for our 2011 Burning Man Production, collaborating with the brilliant Dan Cantrell!! Also, we're getting our groove on for another new work which will premiere at the TWINSPACE 2nd Anniversary Celebration...

...and it's the right time because... drumrooooll ....Glosse is soon to return to us!!! Her time in the mountains has come to and end, and she will be rejoining us and whipping up NEW COSTUMES!!!

Man, oh man is this year gonna be a good one for us. Here's a couple new photos from our latest shoot...consider it a consolation...because we love you! Cheers!

There's an event for that.

So we're about halfway from when the man last burned at Burning Man last year, and when he will burn again this year...so of course, there's an event for that. BURNAL EQUINOX!!! Guess who's performing in the oh-so-cool line up? Yep.

Check us out this Saturday, March 5th! We're scheduled to be on at 11:10pm, so don't be too fashionably late...

WHAT!? It's February??

Wowza Yowza! Time sure has flown by. It's been three months since our last post. And so much has happened...

Glosse has been swept away to the mountains in Washington State. Sausse has been a Yard Dog. Phosse has fallen in love? And Bosse, well, I've been working. Fortunately, we managed to reconvene and create new material! Sans Glosse. For this year's Edwardian Ball, we birthed out a whole new six minute routine in just four days!! Wanna see it? Duh.

We have high hopes for Spring. We've acquired a manager, believe it or not! Sir Andrew Pulkrabek, a fantastic performer himself, will be helping to pave the way to new opportunities for us. Boy, oh, boy is this makin' me excited! Keep your eyes pealed, people. We're gettin HOT up in here!

Glosse Goes Wilderness on Our Asses :: A Farewell for Now

For those of you that don't know, our beloved Glosse Heart (aka Melissa) will be leaving us for the mountains in central Washington state for....six months. What made her want to do this, we still have a hard time figuring out...but nonetheless, we bid her a very very fond farewell & wish her all the best the wilderness can offer....which doesn't include lights, glitz, glamour, or Supperclub Martinis.

WE LOVE YOU, GLOSSE!!!

What will we do without her??
